Open ICT and management systems (ICTSYS)
As years before, an important donation from UGent brings servers, switches, cables and connectors to support server’s room and the backbone.Camaguey and Pinar del Rio made an excellent job upgrading the server’s rooms on their respective universities.
Every university has at least 3 new servers and more than 8 second hand servers (from donations) working in their server rooms and providing services for the community.
In AP2015 3 new servers were installed at UPR, UC and UHO increasing their potential. For future (and thanks to In AP2015 3 new servers were installed at UPR, UC and UHO increasing their potential. For future (and thanks to this servers and the ones from donations) only spare parts will be acquired.
